The concept behind this toolkit was inspired by Ignacio Estrada. in•cur•ij is the phonetic spelling of the word ‘encourage’ and is also split into syllables to resemble the techniques used by those with learning disabilities. The three stages, insight, inspire, include help enlighten the fact that people with learning disabilities have 'a different way of thinking’.
This is forty-five-minute toolkit splits into three activities to give insight on learning disabilities, inspire children with success stories and to include everyone when having fun; thus creating a non-judgmental environment for those with learning disabilities making them feel comfortable and everyone can take part.
